Life and register readings
Mustafa Necati Efendi was born in Gelibolu; the father was a tradesman (esnaf). Work began in Keşan in 1883/84 (AH 1301), on a first salary of 180 kuruş. The first annual entry, for 1883/84, names Mustafa Necati as telgraf ve posta memuru, with no place, with a rise to communications official (Muhabere Memuru) in 1896/97.
