Life#
Born in Istanbul in 1861/62 (AH 1278), this official came from the Armenian Christian (Ermeni) community. Schooling took four years, at a community school (Millet Mektebi).
The official began work in Istanbul in 1881/82, at about 20, paid from the start, on 100 kuruş a month. The annual lists begin in 1881/82, with the official as a letters official (Mekâtib Memuru) in Galata, where the entries run to 1886/87. Next came Thessaloniki (Selanik) from 1887 to 1898. For 1898 to 1900 the lists have no entry. The last posts were in Beyoğlu from 1900 to 1903.
