Life#
Born in Erzurum in 1879/80 (AH 1297) into the Muslim (Müslüman) community, Hüseyin Hüsnü Efendi was the child of a telegraph official (telgraf memuru). Schooling took seven years, at a middle school (Rüşdiye Mektebi).
Hüseyin Hüsnü began work in Erzurum in 1901/02, at about 21, paid from the start, on 150 kuruş a month.
