Life#
Ömer Lütfü Efendi was born in Afsar in 1877/78 (AH 1294) into the Muslim (Müslüman) community. Schooling took seven years, at a middle school (Rüşdiye Mektebi).
Work began in Vlorë (Avlonya) in 1905/06, at about 28, paid from the start, on 250 kuruş a month. Both annual entries, for 1905/06 and 1906/07, place Ömer Lütfü in Vlorë as a communications official (Muhabere Memuru).
