Life#
Born in Düzce in 1880/81 (AH 1298), İbrahim Fehmi Efendi (1298) came from the Muslim (Müslüman) community. Schooling took seven years, at a middle school (Rüşdiye Mektebi); İbrahim Fehmi also held a qualification (a diploma, certificate, training or decoration).
Work began in Düzce in 1900/01, at about 19, with three unpaid years as a mülazım (apprentice) before a first salary of 250 kuruş. Every annual entry from 1903/04 to 1905/06 places İbrahim Fehmi in the same post, communications official (Muhabere Memuru), in Kastamonu.
