Life#
Ahmet Necip Bey was born in Istanbul in 1870/71 (AH 1287) into the Muslim (Müslüman) community; the father's occupation was "Mustesar". Schooling took seven years, at a middle school (Rüşdiye Mektebi); Ahmet Necip also held a qualification (a diploma, certificate, training or decoration).
