Life#
Born in Arapgir in 1877/78 (AH 1294), İsmail Hakkı Efendi came from the Muslim (Müslüman) community. Schooling took seven years, at a middle school (Rüşdiye Mektebi).
İsmail Hakkı began work in Gürün in 1893/94, at about 16, paid from the start, on 142 kuruş a month.
