Life#
Abdurrahim Efendi was born in Skopje (Üsküp) in 1881/82 (AH 1299), into the Muslim (Müslüman) community. Schooling took four years, at a school for young children (Sıbyan Mektebi).
Abdurrahim began work in Skopje in 1903/04, at about 21, paid from the start, on 150 kuruş a month. The first annual entry, for 1903/04, places Abdurrahim in Skopje, the birthplace, as Mevsillik, where the entries run to 1908/09. The last post was in Kosova in 1909/10, with a rise to communications official (Muhabere Memuru).
