Life#
Born in Istanbul in 1875/76 (AH 1292), Ahmet Necip Efendi came from the Muslim (Müslüman) community. Schooling took four years, at a school for young children (Sıbyan Mektebi).
Ahmet Necip began work in Beyoğlu in 1897/98, at about 22, paid from the start, on 50 kuruş a month. The annual lists begin in 1897/98, with Ahmet Necip as a communications official (Muhabere Memuru) in Beyoğlu. Next came Eyüpsultan from 1898 to 1907. The last posts were in Beykoz from 1907 to 1910.
