Life#
Born in Istanbul in 1877/78 (AH 1294), Mustafa Esat Efendi came from the Muslim (Müslüman) community; the father's occupation was "Mektep Muduru". Schooling took seven years, at a middle school (Rüşdiye Mektebi).
